Microsoft announced new opportunities for developers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to reach the 100 million monthly commercial active users of Office 365 on Thursday at its Build 2017 conference.

Among changes to help developers and enterprise customers in the Microsoft ecosystem reach each other, developers can now publish apps through the Office Store for Microsoft Teams, which will be available in what Microsoft calls in a blog post “a new discover apps experience.”

ISVs with SaaS applications production hosted on Azure can now reach Office 365 customers with connectors for PowerApps and Microsoft Flow. The company will offer incentives for jointly co-selling enterprise SaaS apps and services, and it has also connected Office Store to Microsoft AppSource to make it easier to get apps and plug-ins to users.

On the tools side, Microsoft has launched two new capabilities for Teams, compose extensions and third-party notifications in the activity feed, to Developer Preview. New artificial intelligence and data capabilities for Microsoft Graph are also rolling out, including delta queries and custom data, to help developers build intelligent business processes and apps.

“For developers, Office continues to grow across all dimensions, with new development scenarios in Microsoft Teams and across Office applications, increased depth and data access with Microsoft Graph, and new ways to reach users with applications and integrations. The best time to transform work in organizations is now,” Kirk Koenigsbauer, corporate vice president of the Office team said.

Microsoft announced Azure data and AI services on day one of Build on Wednesday.
