April 7, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting company ZooLink Corporation (ZooLink.com) announced on Monday that it has appointed West McDonald as the company’s director of sales and marketing.

According to ZooLink, McDonald’s primary responsibilities will include management of the company’s sales force, building the client base and establishing North American channels to market, as well as expanding the company’s service offerings in Canada and the United States.

Before joining ZooLink, McDonald was manager of Western Canada for Internet carrier PSINet, responsible for the company’s first $1 Million-plus customer in the region. According to ZooLink, McDonald also held positions with GE Captial Solutions and Talking Tag Technologies Inc., both based in Calgary, Alberta.
