February 28, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application technology software provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Thursday it is donating its application traffic management software, ZXTM, to provide support for the Sport Relief (sportrelief.com) website. The biannual charity event from Comic Relief and BBC Sport, which raises money to help people in the UK as well as third world countries, is being held this year from March 14 to 16. Since 2001, Zeus Technology has supported Comic Relief’s two fundraisers, Sport Relief and Red Nose Day. The company provides software to ensure the campaign websites perform efficiently, even during the busy times of online donations and activity.
Collaborating with Amazon Web Services and Comic Relief’s technology partners including Oracle and Sun Microsystems, Zeus Technology’s products support the delivery of robust applications on the event’s website.
“Zeus is proud to be a technical partner and contributor to such a worthy cause as Sport Relief,” says Paul Brennan, chairman and CEO of Zeus Technology. “This year, we’re hoping that Sport Relief receives a record number of visits by generous individuals.”
The company announced earlier this month it signed a partnership with French systems integrator, Infidis.
