Zeus Signs Distribution Partnership

February 20, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application traffic management software developer Zeus (zeus.com) announced last week that it has established a new partnership with IT distributor OpenPSL (openpsl.com), enabling OpenPSL to sell Zeus’s application delivery traffic manager to its client base in the small and medium-sized business, corporate and enterprise markets.

OpenPSL mainly decided on Zeus’ ZXTM for its ability to combine traffic management, advanced security and application acceleration in a one-stop scalable solution, available either as a software platform or an appliance. It features a configurable TrafficScript language, providing OpenPSL customers with the flexibility to define traffic routing rules based on their business needs.

As a value-added distributor for many vendors, VARs, system integrators and software houses, OpenPSL distributes a wide range of IT products, technical services and hosting services, which are sold exclusively through channel partners.

“OpenPSL focuses on delivering tangible benefits to our customers and providing partners with products that secure competitive advantage,” says Ed Callacher, networking divisional manager at OpenPSL. “To achieve these goals, we pride ourselves on linking with organizations that produce leading-edge technology to ensure our offering remains ahead of the market.”
