December 6, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Application traffic management software provider Zeus Technology (zeus.com) announced on Tuesday that it had been selected as one of the top 50 technology innovators by magazine IT Week. The list was compiled by IT Week editors and rates the top companies that have brought the most innovative technology to the global stage over the last year.
The magazine has rewarded Zeus for its flagship product Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager, which is deployed by hosts such as British Telecom and the Planet Internet Services. The software, which has already won a number of UK awards this year, combines traffic management, optimization and security
functions into one scaleable product.IT Week magazine editor Ken Durham says the list had developed from the magazine’s observations about the featured new technologies from the past year.
“We have an increasingly strong presence in the US and around the world and it’s great that industry leading publications are recognising the quality of our products,” says Paul Di Leo, CEO at Zeus. “ZXTM has gone from strength to strength, and with V4 just launched, delivering added functionality to web enabled businesses around the world, we are expecting more great things for 2006.”
