July 21, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Zeus Technology (zeus.com) said Thursday it will offer the Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager load balancing solution as a hardware appliance.

 

The hardware version of ZXTM, previously available only as software, will be available in three models: ZXTM 2000 LB, ZXTM 5000 and ZXTM 7000.

 

ZXTM is designed to reduce costs for Web-enabled businesses, providing load balancing, security and application traffic management in an integrated solution.

"The new appliances build on the unique abilities of ZXTM, to provide high performance solutions to organizations of all sizes.
