March 7, 2005 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Destra's (destra.com) Yahoo! (yahoo.com) co-branded Web hosting subsidiary OzHosting.com (ozhosting.com) announced on Monday the launch of Searchability, its new search engine optimization service.

"As Australia's second largest provider of virtual Web hosting solutions, Yahoo! Web Hosting by OzHosting.com had been experiencing a rapidly growing demand from our customers and resellers for a search engine optimization tool they could use themselves," says Domenic Carosa, CEO of Destra.

Destra selected Web Evident (webevident.com) as its SEO solution provider.

"We're extremely pleased to have destra as our partner representing our services in both Australia and New Zealand," says Dane Robertson, CEO of Web Evident. "Destra's small and medium-sized business customers now have a genuine tool to help them improve their visibility through natural search listings."

The Web-based service is priced at $999 per year, a price point significantly lower than the industry average, says Carosa.

Yahoo! and OzHosting established a joint Web hosting marketing alliance in March of last year.
