July 31, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Telecommunications provider XO Communications (xo.com) announced on Monday it has extended its campaign offering competitive rates and guarantees for high-capacity network services delivered over its extensive nationwide inter-city and metro networks.
XO will increase the capacity of its core network by 200 percent, deploying an additional 800 Gbps of capacity on major coast-to-coast routes across its nationwide 18,000 route-mile optical network, enhancing a capacity expansion XO completed last year which delivered 400 Gbps of capacity across its network.
The XO campaign offers carriers, cable companies, content providers, large enterprises and wireless companies increased incentives to use XO’s suite of inter-city and metro network transport solutions, including Ethernet, IP Transit and wavelength services. The 3 Guarantee Program offers large enterprise and wholesale customers a best price guarantee, an install guarantee and a 90-day risk free trial guarantee, says the company.

XO announced last month it will be recognized with an Eos Award at telecom industry trade show NXTComm.
