XO Announces Network Expansion to 12 Markets

December 5, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Telecommunications carrier XO Communications (xo.com) said today that it is expanding its network with the addition of 12 markets to its current market footprint of 60. The new markets targeted for expansion include: Tucson, Arizona; Fresno and Stockton, California; Colorado Springs, Colordao; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Tacoma, Washington; Richmond, Virginia; Youngstown, Ohio; and St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, Sarasota and Tallahassee Florida.

XO Communications said the additional markets will allow the carrier to provide dedicated Internet access, private line services, and a bundled voice and data offering to an expanded market of small, medium and large enterprises.

The company said the network expansion is to be completed by the end of the year.
