May 7, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — WRQ, Inc. (wrq.com) today announced a partnership with BEA Systems, Inc. (bea.com), a developer of application infrastructure software, to deliver a complete host integration solution for BEA WebLogic Server, BEA WebLogic Integration, BEA WebLogic Portal and BEA Liquid Data for WebLogic. WRQ is also developing capabilities to extend its host integration technology directly into BEA?s forthcoming release of BEA WebLogic Workshop 8.1.
The jointly developed solutions utilize capabilities from the WRQ Verastream and WRQ Reflection product lines. They are designed to streamline the host integration process and can provide enterprsie customers with the ability to quickly and easily reuse host functionality for new initiatives.
The companies expect that the addition of WRQ?s host integration expertise will help expand BEA?s presence with its existing customer base as well as open up integration opportunities with new customers.
