November 27, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting automation software provider Ensim (ensim.com) announced on Monday that New Zealand IP telecommunications services provider WorldxChange Communications (wxc.co.nz) has deployed Ensim Unify to activate and manage its hosted VoIP services for business and residential customers, making WorldxChange the first true fully converged IP carrier in New Zealand.
The IP telecommunications services provider decided to deploy the Ensim Unify VoIP solution over BroadSoft’s BroadWorks hosted communications platform to automate and manage its VoIP service delivery processes. Ensim’s Unify is pre-integrated with BroadSoft’s BroadWorks softswitch, along with a dozen other unified communications applications, enabling service providers to rapidly launch a complete platform.
WorldxChange selected Ensim Unify for its automated provisioning capabilities, as well as its unique extensibility. With fifteen pre-configured service managers for popular unified communications applications, such as Microsoft Exchange 2003, Windows SharePoint Services, Live Communication Server, and Faxing and Mobile Messaging, Ensim Unify helps create and deliver additional revenue-generating service bundles.
“Ensim has enabled us to significantly improve our productivity while ensuring that we have a platform that will serve us in the future,” says Phillip Moore, WorldxChange NZ Network Operations Manager. “It is the only solution that delivers the automation and integration capabilities with the extensibility that are key to succeeding in this market.”
