World's Largest WordCamp To Happen Next Week in Phoenix and Online

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — The conference dedicated to free, open-source blog publishing application WordPress (www.wordpress.org), WordCamp will be coming to Phoenix, Arizona, next week, which for the first time will be streamed live for anyone who cannot attend.

According to its Thursday announcement, the day-long WordCamp (www.PHXWordCamp.com) on November 13 is aimed at helping attendees improve their WordPress websites. The event gives attendees access to influential insiders who specialize in dynamic topics such as Search Engine Optimization, website content, video blogging and online marketing. The conference includes key Internet leaders and game changers such as WordPress founder Matt Mullenweg and 43folders.com creator Merlin Mann.

Another highlight is sure to be the special round-table featuring Mullenweg, Joshua Strebel, president of Arizona web design and development agency Obu Web Technologies (www.obuweb.com), a and Chuck Reynolds, web strategist at rYnoweb (www.rynoweb.com).

Web host and domain registrar GoDaddy.com (www.godaddy.com), which is based in Arizona, is sponsoring the Phoenix WordCamp, and streaming it to the public in its entirety, letting people from around the world to participate while the event happens. No other WordCamp has had streaming to the scale of this event. To participate online, users need to register in advance and then log in to see the event.
