European managed service solutions provider, announced yesterday three

business agreements that further extend the range of managed services
r
delivered to customers.

Telecomputing (telecomputing.com), an ASP company and market leader for the distribution and operation of server-based Windows applications, selected Worldport as a strategic business partner to host and manage its ASP-based platform. Also under the agreement, Worldport will purchase ASP services from Telecomputing, and the two companies will jointly market and sell their products and services to existing, as well as potential customers.

In addition, Worldport announced yesterday two new customer wins, e-Spatial

Solutions (e-spatialsolutions.com), technology developers of spatially enabled Internet applications, and The McLaren Group, an international provider of human capital and management consultancy solutions.

Worldport will host and manage e-Spatial’s Web-enabled customer
r
demonstration platform, as well as provide e-Spatial customers with
r
outsourced services via its Internet Data Centers across Europe. As part of
r
the contract, Worldport and e-Spatial will partner on global new business
r
efforts, leveraging their specific technology expertise. For The McLaren
r
Group, Worldport will manage the company’s entire Internet infrastructure,
r
including the Web site application and database engine of its flagship suite
r
of human resources tools. By outsourcing the management of its online
r
applications to Worldport, The McLaren Group can ensure that its corporate
r
site runs efficiently and is fully protected against external threats.
