The wins include the universities of Edinburgh, Warwick and St. Andrews, all three of which have implemented e-commerce systems powered by WorldPay technology.

The universities have adopted a range of WorldPay solutions, including FuturePay, a flexible online billing system that enables subscription payments, direct debits and standing orders.

The company reported positive results for reach of the deployments.

According to the company, universities in the UK are turning to online payment processing as a means to improving efficiency and meeting the demands of students. The universities signed on to WorldPay now allow students to pay tuition and course fees, and purchase housing and merchandise online.
