announced an agreement to jointly market and promote global WorldCom Web

hosting and co-location services. As part of this arrangement, WorldCom is

now a Compaq Strategic Service Provider Alliance Partner.

Under the terms of the joint sales and marketing agreement, WorldCom and

Compaq are teaming on sales opportunities, leveraging the combined
r

capabilities, products and services of both companies to provide customers
r

with advanced Web hosting technologies and solutions.

The companies are working together to deliver solutions to enterprise
r

customers. These include pre-configured Compaq ProLiant server and
r

StorageWorks hosting solutions, pre-packaged software bundles, and
r

consulting and customer support services from Compaq Global Services with
r

managed Web hosting and co-location services running over WorldCom’s global
r

network, through its own Internet data centers.
