(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Diversified financial institution Wolverine Trading (www.wolve.com) has moved its operations into a CRG West (www.crgwest.com) data center in New York, giving it a state-of-the-art data center space with direct access to the world’s top financial exchanges.
According to CRG West’s Wednesday announcement, Wolverine, which specializes in proprietary trading, asset management, order execution services and technology solutions, is the latest financial firm to secure a spot at its 32 Avenue of the Americas facility (known as 32americas).
CRG West’s New York data center gives Wolverine ultra-low latency and direct access to financial exchanges, resulting in improved performance and “zero-delay” trade execution, real-time market information, and maximized uptime.
“The importance of low-latency access has increased along with the level of available technology,” Wolverine Trading market data group member Jeremy Krinn said in a statement. “The pursuit of a latency advantage is equivalent to an arms race. We now measure throughput in nanoseconds. Wolverine knows well the importance of a solid infrastructure and we consider CRG West’s properties to be consistently among the best.”
Since 1994, Wolverine has been counted on to deliver superior financial technology, derivatives expertise, and highly-skilled professionals who foster a successful, entrepreneurial and ethical work environment.
Wolverine’s move to CRG West’s facilities, according to CRG West 32americas vice president Joseph Kiaer, speaks volumes to the quality of the New York data center. “For all of our financial customers, we provide the security, access to financial networks and reliable power that they need to run their businesses,” Kiaer said in a statement. “We are honored to welcome them to our growing list of customers here in New York.”
CRG West has also recently announced a number of companies expanding their operations at 32americas. Two weeks ago, managed hosting provider Atlantic Metro Communications (www.atlanticmetro.net) expanded its presence within three CRG West data centers across the US including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. Also, in February, application and content hosting solutions provider Logicworks (www.logicworks.net) grew its footprint at 32americas by 2,400 square feet.
