(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — US telcommunications provider Windstream (www.windstream.com) announced on Monday it has successfully completed its private offering of $200 million of its 7.75 percent senior notes due October 15, 2020.

Two weeks ago, the company announced its intent to offer $200 million of 7.75 percent senior notes due 2020.

The notes were issued as additional securities under an existing Windstream agreement, according to the press release.

The notes issued in this offering and the previously issued notes will be treated as a single class of notes under the agreement.

As previously announced, Windstream will use the proceeds of the offering, along with borrowings under its revolving line of credit, to pay the $400 million of 7.75 percent senior notes due 2015 issued by its subsidiaries, Valor Telecommunications Enterprises and Valor Telecommunications Enterprises Finance.

In December, Windstream announced it had acquired Web hosting provider Hosted Solutions from ABRY Partners for $310 million in cash.
