WHIR Exhibits at Industry Events

October 24, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — The Web Host Industry Review (thewhir.com), the Web hosting business’s publication of record, announced on Monday, October 23 that it had been named the official Web hosting news provider for two upcoming industry events, and has plans to exhibit at both shows.

From October 24 to 26, theWHIR will exhibit at the eComXpo (ecomxpo.com) event, described as “the virtual tradeshow for e-commerce marketers.” The 100 percent online conference is free, and organizers say it offers the benefits of a trade show without the cost of traveling and other expenses. The show will enable more than 7,000 attendees to interact via chat or email while attending presentations by industry experts and visiting booths operated by more than 200 exhibitors, including theWHIR, in a virtual exhibit hall.

From November 7 to 9, 2006 theWHIR will exhibit at the ISPCON (ispcon.com) Fall 2006 show, the most recent installment of the long-running Web hosting and Internet service provider industry tradeshow.

In addition to operating one of the more than 100 booths on the tradeshow’s exhibition floor, theWHIR has also been named the official Web hosting news provider for ISPCON Fall 2006.

The Web Host Industry Review’s director of business development and marketing, Candice Rodriguez, will moderate a session at ISPCON. The panel discussion, entitled “Hotshots in Hosting,” will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, and will include contributions from EV1Servers/The Planet VP of technology William Charnock, ServInt Internet Services director of corporate development Christian Dawson, C I Host CEO Christopher Faulkner and PEER 1 VP of dedicated hosting Ted Smith.

In addition to exhibiting at eComXpo and ISPCON, theWHIR will provide ongoing coverage of conference news, along with insider impressions via theWHIR blogs.
