Online presence platform provider WebsPlanet announced this week at HostingCon that it has partnered with Verio for the full portfolio of the WebsPlanet Online Presence solutions including DIY, Do-It-For-Me and the Automatic Site Creation solution.
Verio and its partners will offer the online presence services to small and medium-sized business customers, a major focus for Verio and WebsPlanet, whose directory roots have helped to inform its solutions tailored for SMBs.
“We are excited about our partnership with Verio,” Moshe Livne, president of WebsPlanet, Inc. said in a statement. “Verio is a global provider that recognizes that acquiring and serving SMBs requires a dedicated and comprehensive offering that considers the highly segmented needs of this market. We are working together to deliver wide-ranging suite of solutions that will work for many, without exceeding the often-limited resources that SMBs typically have on hand.”
WebsPlanet says its white-label platform was designed for customers with reseller networks to brand and customize local offerings. Verio plans to extend the WebsPlanet offering across its network of global partners.
With solutions like Automatic Site Creation, WebsPlanet is able to help hosting companies acquire new customers. Automatic Site Creation is a tool that helps web hosts mass market the product to prospects via email by building and sending out thousands of simple, but business-specific, websites. The preview websites can include a link to a free trial and a “buy now” button directly within the email to upsell users without much effort on the part of the web hosting provider.
“We are thrilled with the partnership opportunities that come with a WebsPlanet relationship,” Jon Harmer, senior director of product management for Verio said in a statement. “They bring easy yet comprehensive website building options that meet the needs of our global SMB customers.”
