These additional locations, says the company, improve the reliability of the WebSitePulse false alarm prevention system, based on multiple tests from several locations before an alert is triggered.

The information from additional monitoring locations provide Web systems using a multiple-server solution with a tool that can accurately pinpoint the source of a detected malfunction, decrease downtimes, and reduce wasted manpower and resources.

“Our customers like the peace of mind they get from knowing they won’t get false alerts, and that if notified about a malfunction, they can immediately focus on the real source of the problem,” says Iavor Marinov, CEO of Image Project Inc., and owner of the WebSitePulse brand. “Data about Web systems’ performance, measured from various locations, represents important operational information for our customers, even without service interruptions or Web transaction failures.”

The two new locations bring the number of WebSitePulse global monitoring stations to 11. The company plans to boost the total to 30 monitoring locations across the globe by the end of 2005.
