November 5, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting and domain registrar WebServe Canada (webserve.ca) announced on Thursday that it is now offering .ca domain registrations directly as a Canadian Internet Registration Authority certified registrar.

The company said selling domains directly allows it to offer customers lower prices, better service and support and less confusion when registering or modifying a domain name.

“We are very proud to become a CIRA Certified Registrar,” says Ali Mozaffari, president and CEO of WebServe Canada.

CIRA has handled .ca domains since December of 2000. The organization does not handle domain registrations itself, delegating this responsibility to certified registrars such as WebServe Canada.
