The company says the VPSUK project is designed to offer “low cost and high configuration cloud VPS hosting for customers looking for unmatched reliability and speed.”
Cloud hosting infrastructure provides dedicated CPU resources to the user such as RAM, processor, number of cores and storage space and delivers 100 percent uptime.
VPSUK’s cloud servers are built on Citrix Xen cloud technology, which provides tools to build, manage and provision highly scalable, flexible and robust cloud servers.
“Due to the increasing demand of Cloud Technology, we have been testing Citrix Xen CloudPlatform on our servers for quite a long time and now we are ready to launch it,” said Tim Harris, business development manager of WebHostUK. “We decided to offer cloud hosting by launching a separate project which will be dedicated to meet cloud hosting requirements of customers looking for 100 percent reliability, scalability and high server resources at low cost.”
VPSUK will initially be offering Linux Cloud VPS Hosting with plans to launch Windows cloud VPS hosting in the coming months.
Powered by Linux CentOS Operating system, VPSUK’s cloud hosting service includes control panel WHM/Cpanel.
The service starts from $40.36 per month with further savings on annual, biannual and triannual billing cycle. All cloud plans are fully managed servers and includes 24-hour support by the certified system administrators.
Though users get full administrator access to their servers, VPSUK support staff monitors the servers around the clock, performing server security audits and recurring software updates if required.
