Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany, which will play host to WebhostingDay 2010.

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Event organizer Intergenia AG (www.intergenia.de) announced on Monday that it has opened visitor registration for WebhostingDay 2010 (www.webhostingday.com), a major Web hosting conference and exhibition.

WebhostingDay 2010 will be held once again at Phantasialand in Brühl, Germany near Cologne from March 17 to 19.

More than 70 companies from all over the world will hold technical presentations and exhibits at the hosting.FAIR exhibition, including  Microsoft, Parallels, Intel, AMD, Fujitsu and HP.

WebhostingDay is designed for members of the IT or telecommunications industry to network with other companies in the industry.

More than 2,500 visitors from 21 nations attended last year’s WebhostingDay, surpassing the event’s previous attendance records. WHIR TV provided extensive coverage of the event.

According to the press release, more than half of the visitors last year were from the CEO/CTO level, which is certainly not the norm at such industry events.

WebhostingDay will offer a varied program of information and interaction, with two of the three days featuring main.FORUM and hosting.SESSIONs where registrees can attend discussions and presentations with successful innovators.

The industry exhibition hosting.FAIR runs all day in parallel with the presentations. The event also offers many social events, such as the ConneXion Party and the BizBrunch networking event on the third day.

Industry visitors interested in registering for WebhostingDay can choose between two different visitor passes, both of which are valid for the entire event.

The standard pass gives visitors access to all of the essential elements of the event, including comprehensive catering on all days, an event program, an invitation to the ConneXion-Party, and entry to the BizBrunch.

Intergenia AG has improved the VIP pass this year and now includes the networking tool VIPconnect, reserved seats at all presentations, an exclusive VIP party and a concierge service.

Registration is now available on the event homepage, where visitors can also view information about hotel reservations and the attendance list for the individual presentations.
