(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — It’s Wednesday morning, in Germany, and the 2010 edition of WebhostingDay is just getting started.

It will be two days packed full of presentations – some of them on subjects, and by presented by people you might not ordinarily hear from in the North American market. It’s also going to be a big event. According to the introductory statements, the event has more than 3,500 registered attendees.

As has become the trend with major hosting events over the years, the WHIR has shipped our entire editorial team over to the event (along with a few sales people), and we’ll be covering the sessions live as the show unfolds.

If you’re back in North America, or otherwise unable to attend, you can follow along with the WHIR by visiting our WebhostingDay 2010 coverage feed.

There isn’t too much up there as I write this, but there very probably will be by the time you read it. The sessions are just beginning now. The feed page will also gather Twitter posts about the event.

At the moment, we’ve posted some photos to the WHIR’s flickr feed, and will continue to do so as the event unfolds (right now, the photos just set the stage and show some of Tuesday night’s welcome reception).

That’s about it for now, but keep an eye on our WebhostingDay 2010 news feed, and we’ll keep you up to date.
