September 22, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting research and statistics portal WebHosting.Info (webhosting.info) announced on Tuesday that it is collaborating with Registrar solutions provider LogixBoxes (logicboxes.com) to publish statistical reports on the performance of all worldwide domain name registrars.

WebHosting.Info says its registrar reports provide insight into a registrar’s performance by offering current and historical data on such attributes as total domain name count, number of domains gained and lost, breakdown of domains by TLD, which registrars they are gaining domains from and losing domains to and analysis of domain renewals and new registrations.

WebHosting.Info released a preview of the registrar reports to more than 150 registrars, and several industry experts, in July of 2004. Based on the positive feedback the reports received, WebHosting.Info sped the launch of the registrar reports.
