October 4, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Web Site Source Inc. (WebSiteSource.com) announced on Thursday that it has made streaming media services, using the Helix Server from RealNetworks, available with ever one of its hosing plans.

Using the service, Web Site Source customers can distribute audio and video in a range of formats including RealVideo 9, Flash 4, RealPix, RealText and SMIL, MPEG-1, MP3, MPEG-4, QuickTime and Windows Media.

Founded in 1998, Web Site Source says it now supports thousands of businesses and individuals around the world. The company?s hosting plans, based on prices for a two-year agreement, include the Basic package for $13.96, which includes 200Mb of space and 6Gb of data transfer; the Deluxe package for $20.97, which includes 300Mb storage and 6Gb transfer; the Commerce package for $29.97, with 400Mb storage and 10Gb transfer; and the Professional package for $34.97, with 500Mb storage and 12Gb transfer. All of the packages include streaming media and unlimited email accounts.
