Web Hosts Offer Joint Promotion
October 26, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting providers BizLand (bizland.com), FatCow (fatcow.com) and PowWeb (powweb.net) announced on Wednesday they have partnered to offer “Hang 10 Hosting Giveaway,” (hang10hosting.com) a joint promotion to encourage Web users of all abilities to find a Web hosting solution.
The companies say they joined efforts to meet the unique hosting needs of the three Web communities they serve, which include the small business community from BizLand, the creative-types from FatCow and the tech-savvy users from PowWeb.
“The Web is here for the rest of us, thanks to a new era of easy-to-use online tools that lets just about anyone design a Web site and find a hosting partner in a matter of minutes,” says Sophia Nobrega, Hang 10 promotions manager. “The Hang 10 Hosting Giveaway is our way of putting a spotlight to this joint effort to help get people on the Web. We brought these three hosts together to help people see that they have options and that there are hosts that focus on their particular needs.”
Customers of BizLand, FatCow and PowWeb are eligible to enter to win a Hawaiian vacation for two, along with more than 100 other prizes including a laptop computer and gas cards. The companies say participants will automatically be entered in the draw every time they refer a new hosting customer, sign up for a new hosting plan or upgrade to a paid hosting plan. There is no limit on the number of entries and the deadline is December 15.
