Domain name provider Namecheap (www.namecheap.com) has announced its first ever “Bored at Work and Back to School Riddle Me This Contest,” in which it will give away five domain names every hour for the week beginning midnight on September 3, Eastern Time.
The company will post a new riddle every hour on Twitter (@Namecheap). The first person to answer correctly we will be sent $10.16 for a new domain or renewal directly to their Namecheap account. Four other winners chosen at random will win the $10.16 domain name credit as well. Also, those who answer the most questions correctly over the course of the competition will be eligible for the grand prizes that will consist of three MacBook Pros, a 16GB WiFi iPad, and a WiFi Amazon Kindle.
Codero Offers Discounts on Multiple Servers
Infrastructure-as-a-Service provider Codero (www.codero.com) has launched a new sale on the purchase of multiple dedicated servers, offering up to forty percent off for new customers purchasing servers. Customers buying two new servers will receive 20 percent off the base price of the second server. And those purchasing three or more new servers will receive forty percent off the base price of each additional server. The promotion is for a limited time and is valid for every Codero server.
ResellerClub Announces .IN Domains for $1.49
Announced last week, Web host and domain registrar ResellerClub (www.resellerclub.com) is continuing its offer of .IN and .CO.IN domains for $1.49 – a discount nearly 90 percent – until the end of September.
