RegistryPro to Reduce .PRO Pricing in Commemoration of 2010’s Strong Growth
RegistryPro (www.registry.pro), the operator of the .pro top-level domain, has announced it will be lowering the wholesale pricing of .pro domains by more than 25 percent to accredited registrars for 2011. RegistryPro said the new price would “be in line with Verisign’s .COM pricing”, which rose this year from $6.86 to $7.34.
The reason behind the discount, the company said, is the growth in the number of registered .pro names in 2010, which were up 125 percent from the previous year.

CoreLink Continues Fall 2010 Special Event Featuring Three Free Months of Colocation
As part of its Fall 2010 Special Event, colocation provider CoreLink Data Centers (www.corelink.com) is offering up to three months of colocation space for free on new contracts of at least a year. According to the company, this lets customers transition from their old deployment to new cabinets, cages and suites at Corelink without having to pay for two locations at the same time. The Fall Special Event offer is valid through November 30, 2010.
