(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – In the week ending April 15, 2011, there were many exciting promotions, including a free iPad 2 with colocation. Web host Virtual Internet is offering corporate customers who sign-up for colocation a free iPad, AvailHosting is offering half off its new VPS hosting plans, 1&1 Internet is offering 50 percent of its .co domains and German web host Strato is offering two servers for the price of one for a limited time.

Web Host Virtual Internet Offers iPad 2 with UK Colocation Packages 

Web hosting provider Virtual Internet (www.vi.net) is offering its UK corporate colocation customers who sign up for a one year contract a free iPad 2. The company’s colocation packages start at £49. Virtual Internet will begin offering its services in the US on May 1, 2011. 

Web AvailHosting Offers Half Off VPS Hosting

Web host AvailHosting (www.availhosting.com) has launched a new line of VPS hosting services and is offering its customers 50 percent off their first month. The plans start at $12.99 per month and come with cPanel, two dedicated IP addresses, root access and an option for a 10mbps unmetered connection. To access this special offer, enter the promo code “HALFOFF” at checkout.

Web Host 1&1 Offers .co Domains for 50 Percent Off

Web hosting provider 1&1 (www.1and1.com) is offering its .co domains for 50 percent off the first year. With this discount, its .co domains are $14.99.

German Web Host Strato Launches April Promotion

Web hosting provider Strato (www.strato.com) has launched a promotion offering two servers for the price of one. According to the press release, new customers who sign up for at least a six month contract for dedicated Linux servers are offered a V-server for free. The V-Server will have an up to 10 GB hard drive and 256 MB RAM with up to 1000 GB of traffic is included. Customers will be operate their V-Server free of charge if they operate their dedicated Linux server. The promotion is valid until April 30, 2011.
