(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – In the week ending April 1, 2011, there were several discounts on hosting services and a couple special offers on .co domains. Vermont Internet Design offers 15 percent discount, DiscountASP.net extended its 30-day free promotion for its Team Foundation Server, LCN.com has discounted its .co domains by 33 percent and Namecheap.com has its .co domains for half off.

Vermont Internet Design Offers 15 Percent Off Go Daddy Hosting

Go Daddy reseller Vermont Internet Design (www.vermontinternetdesign.com) is offering a 15 percent discount off orders of $100 or more. Offering web design and programming services, the company recently expanded its portfolio to include reseller hosting. Vermont Internet Design is also offering Go Daddy domains as part of this promotion. To launch this promotion, the company is also giving away free t-shirts with every order.

DiscountASP.net Extends 30-Day Free TFS Promotion

Web hosting provider DiscountASP.net (www.discountasp.net) has extended its month-long free trial of its Team Foundation Server Basic. The collaboration platform supports up to five users that can manage unlimited projects. The promotion is valid until the end of June 2011.  

LCN.com Offers 33 Percent Off .CO Domains in April

Domain registrar LCN.com (www.lcn.com) is offering 33 percent off its .co domains throughout the month of April. With the discount, customers can register a .co address for approximately $20 per year. LCN.com says the .co extension has over 600,000 registrations since its inception last summer. The company says its domain names come with a range of free features, including web and email forwarding, advanced name server management and MX control. 

Namecheap.com Offers Half Off .CO Domains

Domain registrar Namecheap.com (www.namecheap.com) is currently offering its .co domains for $11.88 per year, down from the regular price of $22.98 per year. The company provides free WhoisGuard Privacy Protection and reliable DNS services with servers across US and Europe with each domain registration. Domain registrations include free email forwarding, free real-time DNS servers, free URL forwarding and free dynamic DNS.
