(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Typical of the first week of any month, this week saw a number of web hosting sales and promos. Exabytes, ResellerClub, Pronethosting.NET and 1&1 Internet have all announced promotions for November, and more are expected as US Thanksgiving approaches.
Exabytes Network Launches Thanksgiving promotion
Web host Exabytes Network (www.exabytes.com) has recently issued its Thankgiving promotion which includes promotion on their hosting plans and domain names to celebrate the special month. Until November 30, 2009, it is offering a one-time 15 percent discount on its shared hosting plans (EBiz Gold/Plus) and a one-time $50 discount on its semi-dedicated hosting package. It is also offering domain names such as .in and .co.in for as low as $9.95 for the first year.
ResellerClub Announces Transfer-ins @ Zero Markup Promo
ICANN accredited domain registrar ResellerClub (www.resellerclub.com) has announced its “Transfer-in @ Zero-Markup” promotion, where it will let reseller sell all generic Top-Level Domains at the registry price itself, effectively selling these gTLDs at cost, until November 30, 2009.
Pronethosting.NET launches “INSANE” November promotion: A Year of Hosting for $25
Web host PronetHosting.net (www.pronethosting.net) has launched its latest “INSANE” promotion, offering one year of any of its web hosting services for only $25 for the month of November. The promotion applies to Linux and Windows web hosting and reseller hosting plans. Cirrus Tech Offers More Than 50% on Selected Hosting Plans
Canadian web hosting provider Cirrus Tech (www.cirrushosting.com) has launched its fall promotions, offering significant savings applied on top of the subscription length discounts already offered on its shared, virtual private server, and dedicated server hosting. Clients could save more than 50 percent off the regular monthly price by signing up for a 2-year shared hosting subscription. Its “Ready 2 Go” dedicated servers are discounted up to an additional 30 percent, and its customizable Intel & AMD dedicated Servers with quad-core CPUs will include a $50 online store credit with the purchase of any backup plan.
1&1 Announces November Special Offers
For the month of November, web host 1&1 Internet (www.1and1.com) is offering a variety of discounts on its packages and products, including shared hosting package for free for three months (on a 12-month minimum contract with a small setup fee). Customers can also benefit from three months free on eShops, MailXchange, Microsoft SharePoint, VPS II and VPS III and select dedicated servers. Also, until November 30, .COM domains are $6.99 and .INFO domains are $0.99 for the first year, regular prices apply afterwards.
