Web Hosting Provider Media Temple Names VP of Marketing

Web hosting provider Media Temple announced this week that it has named Lou Kikos vice president of marketing.

Kikos brings more than 20 years of experience to his role overseeing Media Temple’s marketing and communications strategy.

Based in Los Angeles, Media Temple offers a WordPress hosting, shared and VPS hosting, as well as managed AWS services.

“We couldn’t be more pleased to have Lou on board,” Rod Stoddard, President of Media Temple said in a statement. “With his proven track record of delivering successful go-to-market strategies, he will be instrumental in scaling our success to meet our customers’ needs, and, in particular, our enterprise customers’ needs, as we continue to focus on helping them fully unleash the power of the cloud while strengthening our managed services offering.”

Kikos has held various senior leadership positions, including leading marketing and product strategy at cloud-based enterprise software firm iRise, and CCC Information Services, a software provider to the automotive industry.

According to Media Temple, Kikos brings experience in corporate branding, revenue and demand-gen programs, market segmentation and customer lifecycle management. He also co-founded The Magis Group marketing and operations management firm.
