(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –Â Web hosting provider and domain registrar Dotster (www.dotster.com) announced on Monday that it has launched a enterprise-level website security solution built around Thawte SSL certificates (www.thawte.com).
Dotster says it now offers two different SSL certificates to its customers, Thawte SSL123 and Thawte SSL WebServer. Thawte SSL123 certificates enable companies to quickly set up a secure website and prevent hackers. This certificate starts at $42.99 per year, and feature 256-bit browser encryption.Â
Dotster’s Thawte’s SSL WebServer also has 256-bit encryption and validation of the domain and business operating it, according to the company. Dotster says this certificate is ideal for “high-volume ecommerce sites or any website that needs to show the highest level trustmark” and it starts at $99.99 per year.

Each site that uses Thawte’s SSL certificates is also given a Thawte Trusted Site Seal to display, clearly identifying the website as trustworthy to visitors. Dotster says the seal is available in 18 languages.
