A map of Zipservers' data center footprint
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provier Zipservers (www.zipservers.com) announced on Tuesday it has expanded internationally with the opening of its London, UK data center.
The new London data center provides customers with managed dedicated and VPS services with geographic redundancy, enhanced performance and more than 12Gbps of connectivity.
This marks the fourth data center for the company, joining its three domestic data centers in Dallas, Washington D.C. and Seattle.
The London data center features up to 20kW of power per rack, backed by N+1 redundancy on generators, transformers and UPS systems.
The new facility complies with ISO 9001:2000, which benchmarks quality processes for data center operations and offers direct connections to local Tier-1 providers and major European peering exchanges.
“Our customer base is diverse, so it’s critical that we deliver services that meet their requirements,” says Charles Nix, vice president of technologies for ZipServers. “We are extremely excited about this integration, customers with end-users in Europe can now enjoy our same level of managed support on a new level of geographic redundancy.”
ZipServers provides managed hosting solutions to small to medium sized businesses.
It offers a range of services, including VPS, dedicated servers, cloud storage, cloud hosting, shared Web hosting, adult hosting, gaming servers, colocation, and ecommerce.
