Webfusion’s new unlimited hosting plans let customers host unlimited domain names on a single hosting package and create unlimited FTP accounts.
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK-based Web host Webfusion (www.webfusion.com) is now offering its customers in the US and Canada an unlimited hosting plan that provides limitless Web space, traffic and email accounts, along with a free .com domain for $6.99 per month.
According to Webfusion’s Thursday announcement, it has re-launched its shared Web hosting packages to give hosting plans in accordance with Webfusion’s “hosting without limits” approach that lets them host unlimited domain names on a single hosting package and create unlimited FTP accounts. There is also a range of premium features at no additional cost including more than 20 different “one-click” applications such as blogging tool WordPress, content management system Joomla and forum building software phpBB.
“We strive to give our customers the best products available on the market,” Webfusion chief executive officer Thomas Vollrath said in a statement. “Our unlimited hosting package is a result of feedback from our customers and an attempt to help break down some of the barriers people find with other web hosting companies. With the unlimited package our customers can now concentrate on maximizing their business potential rather than worrying about restrictions.”
Webfusion has been a Web host in Europe for more than 13 years, and it first extended its presence into the US and Canada in late 2008. Its initial launch in North America saw the introduction of a limited-time offer of a 99-cent domain names with the purchase of hosting plans starting at $2.99 per month.
Webfusion also recently launched in Spain with the website www.webfusion.es.
In addition to the Webfusion brand, the Webfusion group also consists of www.123-reg.co.uk, www.donhost.co.uk and www.supanames.co.uk.
