Web Host Web.com Launches Google AdWords Mobile Marketing Service

Web hosting company Web.com Group announced on Monday it has launched SmartCalls, a customized mobile marketing campaign based on the Google AdWords advertising service that enables companies to motivate potential customers to call, click and/or visit their website.

Mobile advertising has grown significantly over the years the innovation of smartphone and tablet technology. The new marketing tool enables web hosting companies to offer customers an intriguing add-on service that it could use to differentiate itself from the competition and potentially bring in new business.

The move comes almost a year after Web.com Group introduced its Mobile Website tool that enables small businesses to create mobile websites.

SmartCalls includes an assigned Web.com professional and customized campaign tailored to a particular industry and geography.

The service is designed to help businesses attract new business via Google mobile search ads and their ‘click to call’ features, instantly connecting customers to companies by phone, or geo-locate for walk-in traffic.

The SmartCalls product also provides a full range of campaign feedback features including lead alerts, 24-hour call tracking and call recording.

The custom mobile marketing advertising plan is based on an individual business’s goals that is highly optimized for local search criteria and invites the customer to take action.
