January 17, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider and domain registrar Stargate (stargate.com) announced on Monday that it has substantially reduced its rates for domain registration, and doubled disk storage associated with all of its Web hosting plans.

Stargate, which says it currently accounts for more than 150,000 registered domains, has reduced the price of its domain registration services to $6.95 plus the 25-cent-per-domain ICANN fee.
