(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –- Managed VPS hosting provider SolarVPS (www.solarvps.com) announced on Monday it has added new VPS nodes in Dallas, Los Angeles and Clifton, New Jersey.

Driven by high-performance dual Intel Xeon Quadcore 5500 series CPUs, the new nodes include 48GB DDR3 RAM and Western Digital RAID-edition drives using RAID10 for optimum performance.

Solar’s virtual private servers are powered by Parallels Virtuozzo. Available on Linux, Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 platforms, customers can choose from the Plesk, cPanel or DirectAdmin control panels.

To help populate the new servers, SolarVPS is offering new and existing customers triple the bandwidth, twice the RAM, and 20 percent off its Windows and Linux VPS packages when users enter the coupon code “TRIPLEDUB”.

In February, the company announced it was merging with managed dedicated host DedicatedNOW.

The merger added greater resources to SolarVPS, including a new location at DedicatedNOW’s data center in New Jersey.

The data center has a multi-gigabit bandwidth network accessing all key tier 1 providers through point of presences in 165 Halsey and 111 8th Ave.

SolarVPS provides Windows and Linux VPS Web hosting services on virtualized infrastructure.
