Web Host ServInt Names Director of Managed Services

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Managed hosting provider ServInt (www.servint.net) announced on Thursday it has appointed James Tricarico to the new position of director of managed services.

The appointments follows in May when it named Devon Rutherford to the new position of director of sales.

Since joining ServInt in 2003, Tricarico immediately began demonstrating his ability to resolve difficult customer-support issues, according to ServInt.

In the past seven years, he has led many efforts to enhance client-facing systems within the company, particularly in the area of technical support.

In his new position, Tricarico will be responsible for managing the expansion of ServInt’s technical support group, known as ServInt’s Managed Services Team.

Part of his role will be in overseeing the “real-person” interaction between ServInt Managed Services Team members and new customers as part of ServInt’s newly launched KickStart program.

Tricarico will report to ServInt’s chief operating officer Christian Dawson and chief technology officer Matthew Loschert.

“Jim’s promotion is an example of how the person best qualified for the job is often the one who has been in the trenches, working toward it for years,” says ServInt founder and CEO Reed Caldwell. “As we continue to expand our client-support function to match our growing customer base – and the growth in our service offerings – Jim’s deep understanding of our customers’ requirements will be of critical importance. No one is better suited to be in charge of our industry-leading Managed Services Team.”
