May 5, 2005 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider PowWeb.com (powweb.com) announced on Tuesday that it had upgraded its main Web hosting package, raising disk storage allotments from 2GB to 5GB and increasing monthly bandwidth from 5GB to 10GB per day.
Current customers will have the increases integrated into their plans automatically.
PowWeb offers a single Web hosting plan priced at $7.77 per month. The company says the package covers 98 percent of Web hosting customers.
“We are known for our ‘everything is included’ Web hosting,” says Andrew Te, CEO and founder of PowWeb. “We don’t have service tiers. Our one package has every feature we have available for only $7.77 per month.”
