(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Web hosting provider PeakColo (www.peakcolo.com) announced on Tuesday that it has named Robert Darrow vice president of operations.

In this role, Darrow will oversee all operational and engineering activity as well as the design and development of PeakColo’s operational support systems.

Prior to PeakColo, Darrow was responsible for SunGard Availability Services’ Technical Operation Center, which delivered 24×7 incident management support, according to the press release. At SunGard, Darrow built a service delivery team to support the highest levels of service for enterprise customers and spent a year in India developing and executing a “Follow the Sun” support model.

Before SunGard, Darrow held management and engineering roles at Inflow, a managed services provider based in Denver, Colorado.

Darrow has a M.S. in finance from the University of Colorado, and B.S. in business administration from Regis University.

“PeakColo has been growing at a 300 percent year-over-year rate,” Luke Norris, CEO and founder, PeakColo, said in a statement. “As a Type II SSAE 16 service provider, Robert will continue to enhance our core business, operations controls and efficiencies and implement even greater accountability, audit-ability and process controls.”
