(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT services provider Newtek Technology Services (www.newtekwebhosting.com), the technology services division of Newtek Business Services (www.newtekbusinessservices.com), announced on Tuesday it has partnered with payment solutions provider Payvision (www.payvision.com) to expand Newtek’s ecommerce offering to both US and foreign-based web hosting customers.
The announcement follows February’s launch of TechExec, a new program that enables Microsoft based web hosting resellers to earn reoccurring revenues and commissions by offering Newtek financial and business services to their own B2B clientele.
The addition of Payvision further reinforces the partnership between the two companies.
Newtek’s ecommerce solution currently offers US-based payment processing. With this latest addition of Payvision, Newtek can offer its customers the ability to go international with their credit card processing.
Payvision will provide Newtek customers with Virtual POS, a Windows-based software application that has all the necessary features required for processing credit and debit card transactions in cases where the physical cards are not present.
By offering a quick and easy way of processing card transactions, Virtual POS offers an effective tool that helps companies increase their sales.
With the Newtek PayVision solution, Newtek customers can start selling in local currencies in foreign markets or enabling foreign-based merchants to settle in US dollars.
