(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — UK-based hosting provider Netcetera (www.netcetera.co.uk) announced last week that it has launched a Managed Windows Cloud Server product it says combines the simplicity of shared hosting with the flexibility, reliability and scalability of Cloud Hosting.
According to Netcetera, the new cloud server product comes pre-installed with a web-based control panel, making it easy for clients to manage websites, databases, FTP and other resources.
The company is offering the service at a 50 percent discount on the first three months, to coincide with the launch. The promotional offer includes free site migration and a seven-day money-back return policy.
“Netcetera’s Managed Windows Cloud Servers are designed to provide you with a high performing, reliable, scalable hosting solution.” said David Scalzo from Netcetera, quoted in the press release. “Whether you are a developer building Web applications or writing core server-based system services, our Managed Windows Cloud Servers can be easily and quickly configured and deployed to meet your specific requirements – for less than £20 per month.”
The solution is backed by 24-hours support, providing security, data backup, patch management and a variety of other managed services.
It is built on Dell servers, running Windows Server 2008 R2 and using Microsyoft’s Hyper-V Cloud and System Center.
Information about the Managed Windows Cloud Server is available from a product-specific landing page on the company’s website.
