Daniel J. Van Dixhorn, general manager of the central region at NaviSite
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider NaviSite (www.navisite.com) announced on Monday it has named Daniel J. Van Dixhorn general manager of the central region.
The move comes a few months after NaviSite’s appointment of Allen Allison to the newly created position of chief security officer and Dennis Sherwood as general manager of the Western region.
According to the press release, Van Dixhorn will lead NaviSite’s sales efforts in the central region, where he will drive revenue growth for NaviSite’s portfolio of enterprise hosting and managed cloud services.
He has more than 20 years of enterprise technology sales experience. As global accounts vice president at Avaya, Van Dixhorn led a team that covered 40 states and more than 30 of the largest banks and insurance companies in the US.
Most recently, he was a founding partner at professional services firm Banin Communications.
Prior to Avaya and Banin, Van Dixhorn held senior sales positions at Lucent Technologies and AT&T.
