(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –Web hosting provider myhosting.com (www.myhosting.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched a series of updates to its shared web hosting plans.

According to the press release, the basic web hosting plan, based on the CentOS Linux platform, has been rebranded as the Personal Website hosting plan to highlight its popularity for personal uses like blogging, WordPress hosting and personal and small business use. The new package includes a $25 credit for Bing and Yahoo! Search advertising, as well as a $25 Google AdWords credit, for a total of $50 in advertising credits.

myhosting.com’s premium web hosting plan has been rebranded as the Business Hosting plan. It includes Microsoft Exchange-based email, dual platform Windows and Linux shared hosting platforms as well as $100 in search advertising credits.

According to the press release, the most significant changes come with the launch of the eCommerce hosting plan, formerly the professional package. This hosting package comes with all the standard features in the business hosting plan plus additional mailboxes and databases. It also includes eCommerce features like a free installation and license for Pinnacle Cart. myhosting.com added Pinnacle Cart to its ecommerce packages in September. The package also includes a free RapidSSL Certificate which can be used with the shopping cart or shared hosting webspace as well as $150 in credits from Bing and Yahoo! search advertising and Google Adwords.
