(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) –Web hosting provider KnownHost announced last week that it is offering its managed VPS and hybrid server customers a free upgrade to increase RAM and bandwidth.

This announcement comes about a week after KnownHost expanded its VPS offerings to a New Jersey data center.

“Our customers have told us they look forward to the upgrades each year, so we have made it an annual tradition,” Justin Sauers, CEO of KnownHost said in a statement.  “There is no change in price for these upgrades and we’re committed to showing our customers that we appreciate their business.”

According to the press release, this will be the fourth year that KnownHost has provided these network enhancements around the holidays for its customers.

In October, KnownHost announced that it monitors 201 physical servers, and has subsequently been placed as the number one web host among the HyperSpin list for reliability and uptime.

With the recent addition of New Jersey, KnownHost has three major data centers that have been brought online in the past five years, including established locations in Texas and California.
