The managed hosting provider chose Unify for its ability to integrate with intY’s Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration infrastructure, as well as for its ease and speed of deployment.
intY’s customer base of various education, manufacturing, publishing, government and technology corporations, was seeking an integrated solution that combined messaging and collaboration with intY’s security expertise. It was important that the platform could provide intY’s customers with control panels, automate time-consuming tasks and support for complex reseller structures.
Ensim says its Unify Shared Edition offers a single, centralized software application that simplifies daily tasks of activating, configuring and managing a service provider’s unified communications and collaboration infrastructure.
Co-developed with Microsoft, Unify offers users a solution to manage and automate their hosted services under a shared infrastructure. The latest version, Unify Shared Edition 4.0, enables service providers to provision and manage Microsoft Exchange 2007 and SharePoint Services 3.0 in different deployment scenarios, including HMC 3.5, HMC 4.0 and in-house infrastructure.
