Scott Allen, chief financial officer at Intermedia
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Intermedia announced on Wednesday it has named former Citrix Online Services executive Scott Allen as its new chief financial officer.
As a member of the senior management team, Allen brings expertise in corporate finance, business development and operations to the cloud services and hosted Exchange company.
Most recently, Allen held the role of VP finance and operations at Citrix Online Services – a division of Citrix Systems and provider of cloud-based collaboration services such as GoToMeeting and GoToMyPC.
While there, he was responsible for driving the overall business model, as well as being heavily involved in the online division’s acquisition strategy.
Allen also held various business unit CFO and controller roles at business outsourcing solutions provider ADP. Based in Intermedia’s Sunnyvale, California office, Allen has global responsibility for all financial functions including general accounting, financial planning and analysis, customer billing, treasury, tax, legal and the development of internal IT systems and business processes.
Intermedia has also named Elizabeth Mye as its VP of human resources. She joins Intermedia from NetSuite, a provider of cloud-based financials and ERP software suites, where she oversaw human resources for North America.
Mye has 20 years of human resource management experience in the technology, IT consulting, healthcare, manufacturing and consumer products industries.
In her role, Mye has global responsibilities for HR services including staffing, compensation and benefits, training and overall employee relations.
