A chart from the Infinitely Virtual website, showing price and features for VTS plans
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Infinitely Virtual (www.infinitelyvirtual.com) announced this week that it had introduced two new sets of offerings, with a Dedicated Exchange Hosting package and two new configurations for its Virtual Terminal Server offering.
The company says its Dedicated Exchange Hosting plans start off with a minimum of three virtual dedicated servers in a private VLAN, redundant active directory controllers and an exchange server. All the company’s DEH plans include free functions for user account management and implementation. They also offer administrator access to active directory and Exchange System Manager applications.
Data for the offering is stored on the company’s clustered SAN, and the servers operate behind the company’s SPI Firewall and perimeter antivirus. Customers are able to install any third party Exchange application.
Optional features for the plans include single sign-on, which enables privately hosted Exchange environments to be integrated into office networks; and site-to-site IPSec VPN, which enables virtual servers to be deployed in an office network.
“We designed our DEH – Standard plan for customers that want the most sophisticated Exchange server environment without needing the costly IT team to manage it,” says Adam Stern, President and CEO of Infinitely Virtual, quoted in the announcement.
Issued earlier in the week was a press release announcing the release of the company’s new premium Virtual Terminal Server packages, the Diamond and Diamond+ plans.
Virtual Terminal Server is part of the company’s “office virtualization” set of products, which bundle hosted resources with a few other business services. The two new plans are added at the top end of the price and performance range for the company’s VTS offerings.
A complete listing of the company’s VTS pricing and features is available on the Infinitely Virtual website.
Both packages feature a virtual dedicated terminal server, a virtual dedicated file server with SharePoint Foundation and redundant active directory controllers. Built-in active directory, says the company, enables users to access all network resources after authenticating once.
“We’ve added more features and two new plans, Diamond and Diamond+, to our incredible Virtual Terminal Server – Premium lineup. These new larger plans enable customers of any size to embrace true cloud computing,” says Stern.
